Core PHP:-

Core PHP is simply a very basic PHP programming language used to create dynamic web pages.It works without any extra library and has a rich set of functionalities available for the developer.

Advanced PHP/PHP Frameworks:-

It usually has a fixed set of rules and hence the code can be passed from one developer to another, unlike the core PHP. It provides consistency in the code.

Framework:-

The principle idea behind the workings of a PHP framework is referred to as Model View Controller (MVC). MVC is an architectural pattern in programming that isolates business logic from the UI,allowing one to be modified or identified separately from the other.

CMS:-

The principle purpose of a Content Management System is to provide the capability for multiple users with different permission levels to manage a website or a section of the content. Examples of top CMS based on PHP are WordPress, Drupal, Joomla and so on.

Laravel & CodeIgniter:-

Laravel:-

Laravel is an open-source widely used PHP framework used in web application development. This framework is based on model view controller design pattern, hence project developed with help of this framework are more structured and manageable.

CodeIgniter:-

It is a powerful PHP framework used in web applications development and is open source framework .It improves the speed of web development by its powerful functionality and features & also offers awesome security and encryption procedures.

REST API:-

REST stands for "Representational State Transfer". It can be defined as a set of rules that define how to exchange resources in a distributed system.In other words,it is a concept or architecture for managing information over the internet. REST concepts are referred to as resources. A representation of a resource must be stateless. It is usually represented by JSON.

API:-

API stands for "Application Programming Interface". It can be defined as a set of rules that allows one piece of software application to talk to another. These rules can include create, read, update & delete operations. In other words, it's an interface that allows applications to communicate with each other. REST API enables your application to cooperate with one or several different applications using REST concepts.

Database Connection:-

Database can be defined as a collection of inter-related data which helps in efficient retrieval, insertion and deletion of data from database and organizes the data in the form of tables, views, reports and so on. For example, university database properly organizes the data about students, faculty, and admin staff etc. which helps in efficient retrieval, insertion and deletion of data from it.

The main steps to create MySQL database using PHP are:

Establish a connection to MySQL server from your PHP script. If the connection is successful, write a SQL query to create a database and store it in a string variable.Execute the query.

Server:-

A server,simply, is a computer, a device or a program that is dedicated to managing network resources. Servers are often referred to as dedicated as they carry out hardly any other functions or tasks apart from their server tasks.

Domain:-

A domain name is a website name. A domain name is the address where Internet users can access the website. A domain name is used for locating and identifying computers on the Internet.

Hosting:-

Web hosting can be defined as a service that allows organizations and individuals to post a website or web page onto the Internet. Websites are hosted, or stored, on special or dedicated computers called servers.

FTP:-

FTP(ie. File Transfer Protocol) is the language or protocol that computers on a TCP/IP network (such as the internet) use to transfer files to and from each other. It’s also one of the oldest protocols in use today.
